“My professional objective as a Practice Administrator is to lead the highly skilled team of medical professionals that we have here at Barth Vision, in a way that encourages the best outcomes for our patients. My attention to the details of how this practice runs is intended to free up my coworkers so that they can provide exemplary care for our patients,” explains Peter.

“My intention to create an environment of respect and trust for all, is naturally reflected in the way our patients receive care. From the feedback we get from patients, we know they really do appreciate the high level of service we are able to provide.”

Peter began working as an Ophthalmic Technician for the Eye Care Institute in Santa Rosa starting in 2016 and soon became a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant continuing in that role until 2019 when he took a position with Kaiser Permanente in Napa. There he served in a variety of positions including Vision Services Assistant, Interim Supervisor, as a member of the Unit-Based Team Diagnostic Testing & Patient Care Team, and as part of the Ophthalmology Department.

While working at Kaiser Permanente Peter finished his Master’s in Business with a focus in Healthcare Administration. His motivation has always leaned towards improving efficiencies and improving the working conditions for staff while enhancing the experience of patients. Outside of work he enjoys spending time golfing, scuba diving, camping, and hiking.

Peter joined Barth Vision and Optical in April of this year as Practice Administrator. In this role he continues to expand his interest in improving the working environment for staff while providing the highest quality care and service to patients.
